The Back Forty applique quilt pattern by Toni Whitney Design is part of "The Heartland Series" collection, a series of three patterns. A traditional red barn is featured in a grassy pasture on a cloudy day making a lovely landscape pattern.

The pattern is designed for raw edge fusible applique, so I recommend that you use an Applique Pressing Sheet.

The pattern contains easy to follow instructions, a full size layout guide, and pattern pieces that are already reversed for applique. Included is a suggested color swatch strip to aid in fabric selection, but you can always create an original color scheme that is to your liking.
